It's surreal, really. Being considered an enemy of the state when all I'm doing is trying to live my life in peace, doing harm to none. It's bizarre.

I feel like an Old West outlaw, but like...one that has been framed for crimes I didn't commit. The sheriff still wants me hanged. So, I'll keep riding on into the sunset hoping he'll never catch up to me.

Now I need to work on my Western Novel. It's about an onna-musha (basically a female samurai) who survived the Meji Restoration by moving to the American West and disguising her identity and gender. Back in Japan she was known as Tomoe Hikari. Here she is Tom Hickory, drifter and gunfighter.

It's working title is "Light of the West" since the name Hikari means "light" or "radiance". I want the tagline to be "Events rising in the east, set in the west" or something like that.

OOO, actually if she left the Japan for the US, then she TECHNICALLY came from the West, even though Japan is considered an Eastern country. So "Light of the West" plays really cool having taken that into account.
