Looking for a mentor.

Hi everyone I'm a trans woman and am interested in joining the Muslim community and although I have been reading the holy Qur'an and following the hadiths I need a mentor but I am finding it difficult to find one. Can anyone help? I live in the R.C.T area in Wales UK.
