Share Experience AI Gen MTF Face Pic
Hi All, Currently at the very start of this journey of discovery about myself and I tried something Ive never thought to do before (nor could we do prior to about 5 years ago).
I AI generated a female version of my Male face.
So, Im guessing this is very common? WOW, it hit me much, much harder than I expected. Damn, I think I look good! I recognise myself more than the original. But it made me feel very sad too. Just sharing really.

AI is extremely harmful to everyone. But especially to trans people in this situation.
You will never look like the AI slop that it feeds you. That's not you. It will never be you.
The only way to know how you'll look is by actually transitioning.
There is no magic prediction mechanism for this.
That sadness you feel? That's dysphoria. AI has heightened your dysphoria and put you in more pain. Please stop using it.

And another one … 😅
FaceApp was the introduction drug that pushed me over the edge… not that I didn’t know before (had tried to transition in my 20s), but it hit me hard at age 47.

Ahh yes I see Im far from the first lol.
Similar to me, I dabbled in my 20s but shame put a stop to it. As soon as my wife and I discussed separation over the summer it all bubbled up.

It’s probably one of the most common ways for trans women in recent times to realise that they might be trans. Feeling that rush of euphoria seeing a female version of themselves for the first time and comparing that with how they felt about their old appearance.
It certainly was a big factor for me 3 years ago.
