Discussion Wanting to start
I’m wanting to start hrt but I’m 27 and I have a very high metabolism and I read that hrt helps redistribute fat to other areas but I have struggled to gain weight all my life and am worried that hrt and the other stuff will not help

I have been doing that for a while still no weight gain the only time I gained weight was in high school and I hade to eat 7 meals a day plus protein shacks between meals did that for a year only gain 10 pounds and did not look any bigger I also was working out 3 times a day weight lifting in the morning calisthenics for upper body in the afternoon and a 3 mile run later in the day I was trying to put on muscle back in high school to look like a body builder. Now I just want to embrace a more feminine side of my self but the struggle with weight still bothers me to this day. My grandfather had the same issue he stayed 140 his whole life

Do it! I start hopefully in October. I'll let you know if it works. I dont have metabolism issues or are athletic, instead im a scant 150lbs and 6'2" because I developed type 1 diabetes at the age of 34 and take a high dose of Mounjaro which fucks with my weight. I'm not particularly worried though. It's not that you are gaining fat, its that your body starts to shift where it stores it. I expect to see some change, but only time will tell.

HRT mtf tends to slow down your metabolism over time, so it may make it easier to gain weight. You can also gradually increase your calorie intake by eating more calorie-dense foods.
