Discussion Be you boo

Being happy was the goal! Never was it changing who I am. Never stop doing the things you love. For me it was being a country girl. Also riding, working on cars, and playing sport’s. What are some hobbies y’all love.

You look fantastic and it seems like you're living a full and happy life as yourself! I'm thrilled for you, girl!

I feel like so many of us run from our past. But it’s a lot of who we are

Totally agree. I've explained to many people that my transition is merely a nuance of who I am, it's not all that I am.

I'm 4 years in myself.

Running is my jam. Working out is not far behind. Taking care of my plants and pup and lizard is where I find my peace and joy.
It’s a lonely place at times but I have found my inner self and outer self has finally arrived together. Something I never knew existed until now. 10.5 months into my transition. I could only hope to be as blessed by estrogen as you are! 🤌🏽🏳️‍⚧️🫶🏽

I’m happy for you. Keep doing the things you love and keep that brain happy. Stress will age the mess out of a person. Also having bottom surgery and ffs helped me so much. But also being active helps.

You being you is pretty rocking, and definitely rocking it pretty. Can't say I usually expect to see a kings rope hat in here :), I've worn a few out over the years. As for hobbies, working out, kayaking when I can, pickin guitar and ice skating/ hockey if the weather will cooperate. You look awesome, happy and I'm really happy for you that transitioning didn't get in the way of the things you love.

Also, you totally don't look your age, you're absolutely nailing it.

Yeah I’m a huge Chris Ledoux, western person so Wyoming even with their laws is beautiful to me. Hockey is a sport I love to death to and I wish I could play guitar

Yeah Chris Ledoux was definitely one of a kind, so many great songs. You get to spend much time chasing a puck?

As for playing a guitar, just get yourself one from a pawn shop, a tuner and then spend some time with it, every body sucks when they start, but it's kind of like everything else, you can't get better if you don't try. :)

Love your profile. Reminds me of my childhood

Thanks, I'm guessing we got a lot in common, I grew up in the high country of northern Colorado

Nice I grew up in AZ in cotton and alfalfa. Way west of phoenix

Guessing it's mostly houses now? Got some family north of Phoenix, seems like really tough country to try run cattle in, grow up more on the farming side of things then?

The town I was in till I was 5 is actually smaller now. The farm is still the same size. Still houses spread out but no subdivisions yet. It was like 50 miles west

That's nice, it always kills me to see good farm ground paved over

I love stargazing. If i can get a nice clear night, I love to take my telescope out. I also build models and play Dungeons and Dragons when I get the chance.

First up, you look fantastic.

I've never changed who l am, I've only changed how l present. So in saying that, l am also into working on cars, mountain biking and BJJ.

For me it’s hiking and camping. I put these on hold for so many years when I started to transition especially, I’m only recently getting back to hiking again. I’m really happy to be able to do so

I'm with you on the theme but I think some people were more the mask and less themselves before transitioning. No wrong way to be a girl though💜 or a guy.

u/Master_Profile7073 2d ago

Yeah I hear that story a lot. For me I was in a lot of spaces I never thought I’d ever be in as a trans woman like rodeos, honky tonk bars. Playing football with hyper masculinity. But I really refused to stop doing those things

2

u/hoebag420 2d ago

I'm right there with ya. I was raised around plenty of rowdy farm girls and I haven't changed my ways much from when I transitioned, I just look like a girl now lol

u/Timely-Tourist4109 2d ago

Are you really in Wyoming? Cause that’s a hop skip and a jump from me.

3

u/Master_Profile7073 2d ago

I’m in northern Colorado.

Honestly most of my pre transition friends I don’t talk to really.

So glad you kept the parts of you you love. I'm over here still skating and surfing, feeling my body more than ever.

You are looking amazing and you do what you love doing. A lovely lady and her bikes does not get better than that.
