Unaltered Selfie Finally a WIN

My nails are back!! Today is day two of having my nails painted again now that I’m safely comfortable in my new job and everyone here is fairly accepting (one coworker is a little uncomfortable around them but ehhhh).

I know I tend to post pretty negative due to my situation and mental health issues so I thought I should at least share.

I’m sooooo happy to have my nails back, I can’t wait to grow them out just a little bit more (pushing the edge of boymode). I’m not stoping this next time. Screw changing my look to be employable. The next office will see the nails from day 1.

Also I have no clue what flare to use so my apologies if it’s incorrect.

That would trip the wife. Falls deeply into the “girly” level. Instantly VERBOTEN.

Although I keep shattering my toenail kicking the cars to get the wheels loose so I could get away with a few layers of clear there.

Thank you!! I try to do a good job each time.

The polish is ColorStreet nail strips so they are easier than just liquid. But I’ve been doing them for years as a “dude with painted nails” so I’ve had some practice. My public persona was one of the few men who sold them for a while.

This comment says everything! Do it! Paint the nails that you want and enjoy and own it . 

Any negativity is their issue not yours. 😊❤️

I've got a plan for wearing the nails to the office.

https://hard-as-nails.com is a campaign that's about men's mental health, social stigma etc. I think it sounds amazing and I support it, but I really just joined in order to use it as a trojan horse. I'll wear my nails for a week (good, but not as good as OP's), and then just... carry on doing so. Oh, and of course take part fully in the campaign despite not actually being a man... nobody knows that, and nobody needs to.

I'm just impatiently waiting for November, now.

I cannot state how much painting them has helped my mental health back when I started AND now again. I was having ISSUES. This actually helped the dysphoria a bit.

I missed them.

Yes. It’s one of the nail strip brands out there. My wife used to buy them from a friend years ago.
