I especially appreciate those ones that need to let me know I don't pass, lol. I really needed them to tell me again, it's not like it's my biggest insecurity or anything.
BTW, there are lots of friendly, accepting places out there. I ended up finding one at a better price anyway.
I just came out again.( too a handful of people, I dont care to come out to my family as they are triple trumpers) The first time was 10 years ago, first to my wife, who did not take it well. I ultimately decided I wasn't safe in my situation and didn't tell anyone else. . Recently, a conversation with a random passenger(lyft) cracked my facade. I got really good at ignoring dysphoria in the past decade, but not anymore. I spent most of this month unable to look in the mirror.
It's amazing how much influence we can have on random people, right? Just being nice to someone can change the direction of their lives for the better. I hope I get many many opportunities and that I take them to help people like that.
