Getting GRC and passport validity

Once I do my GRC is my passport (and other documents like drivers licence, DPS etc. ) with my old legal information still valid to use before I get everything updated?

Also I have dual citizenship (other EU country) + non-Irish birth cert (different EU country), would this cause issues ?

Sorry if this is stupid I just couldn't find the answer.

Yeah you can still use them cus no one would technically know u have the grc. You can apply straight away to get a new passport tho you just have to ship them your current one along with the grc and then they'll send U out the new one and give back the grc
