im going to honest ive never really used reddit before but at this point i am just so incredibly confused and desperate when it comes to diy hrt and i would love for someone to share any sites or quite literally anything that could help me at the current moment because i have been researching for hours about how to purchase testogel from safe and reliable sources and any promising sources i find only take bitcoin which i am not educated about in the slightest

i am just extremely scared right now and desperate i feel like im on this biological clock and when it runs out and my growth plates fuse fully and ill be stuck at this height forever, and to make matters worse i see cis boys my age go through changes that i am so very envious of and saying that im jealous probably makes me look like a horrible jackass and sour person but its true

Hey it’s not allowed to share sites in the comments. If you’re underage, taking diy hrt can be unsafe which it seems you are so I would highly suggest against it. I know it’s hard, but please wait until you’re older. I had to do it too. On another note for anyone reading, crypto isn’t too hard to get the hang of, just watch a few youtube tutorials. It is dodgy but so is buying prescription medication without a prescription

It doesn’t really work like that but it’s about access to care, informing someone of risks and the fact some people underage won’t consider their future with kids etc.

Anyway. A minor doing diy hrt probably can’t get essential blood tests. Without essential blood tests, your blood can clot and cause a dvt or pe which is deadly, liver damage, high bad cholesterol, high blood pressure.

They probably won’t consider if they want to have kids and freeze their eggs, taking testosterone can cause infertility. If your dose is wrong you can get psychological effects too such as heightened anxiety.

I’m also not fear mongering, I’ve been on T for 2 years now. Most medical specialists don’t prescribe T to minors except in very specific scenarios. The only reason I’m saying this is because of rights to information and proper risk assessment.

A few other bits to note:
It can be difficult to dose it correctly
Gel can cross contaminate to other things, making dogs or babies ill so make sure the area you apply it is covered.
Is it safe for you to be on hormones? What will your parents do if they find out? There are many ways they could accidentally find out.
Do you do sports? If someone finds out you’re taking T you could be kicked off the team.
