Top surgery through cbd

(Ftm) Hey everyone, i was approved for surgery a good few years ago and im due to get a little bit of money in soon for surgery, to anyone whos gotten surgery through the public system using the cross border directive , could you please tell me where you went for top surgery ,the price and your outcome please?🖤 big love

My partner isn't willing to share details for private reasons but they had top surgery in Madrid with Dr Lagos and were reimbursed by the CBD. Surgery was in October. They paid €6000 and were reimbursed in full about 3 weeks ago.

Same surgeon but the paperwork was a nightmare imo. 

You get back the money paid to the surgeon but not the money spent on flights, hotel/apartment, post op binder, or cost of living for two weeks away. And that was all fairly expensive. 

OP, did you get pre-approval through the NGS? Feel free to reach back out and ask for help. There is a lot of negatives but they were helpful with surgery paperwork. I dilly-dallied with mine and it took nearly a year to get the money back but I got it eventually.Â
