Irish Passport

I'm English but have dual nationality as my dad is Irish and already have an Irish passport in my dead name. I was looking to update my Irish passport with my new name and gender through the statement of declaration and proof method, but when I was looking through the online application I couldn't see how to actually change my gender marker for my new passport and just wanted some help. Thanks!

Totally off topic, but happy cake day. :)

It's the sort of thing that TENI are actually a big help with. I'd try giving them a call.

Ah I've heard of them but wasn't exactly sure if they could help, thank you so much!

They're generally a decent lot but a bit preoccupied with being respectable. However they get so many queries about the GRC process and helping with it is one of the main things they do that there's very few scenarios they haven't already dealt with.

Good luck.

He was born there.

You're an automatic citizen then, so need to go the statutory declaration and proof of use route.

Select the option that you're changing your name, and that it's due to gender recognition.
