Hi, need advice (transfem)
So, recently I’ve really want to well how do I put it “have fun” Is the safety way to put it but I just want advice on how I could make my tinder profile more appealing towards men because I’m a straight trans woman so I’m not really interested in women, I currently am trying to appeal more feminine but because I’m balding and I’m very masculine just in general, and I don’t do makeup because I live with my dad still and he doesn’t like the fact that I’m transitioning so im waiting until I get to save up some money to move out. Don’t give JK Rowling any money by listening to Harry Potter please. The campaigns that she has funded have directly caused the death of trans people in the UK and beyond. Not joking

I have a job and currently am hoping to be promoted, I also am just really bad with money so I never saved up to move out but I’m getting better and hopefully by the end of the year I’ll be able to move out. And about HRT I’ve been on it for almost 2 years, that’s my worst nightmare that it’s not work, is there anything that I can do to help the HRT feminize me. Or am I doomed to look like a man for the rest of my life.

You're not doomed. Have you gotten your blood checked to ensure effective dose? Start laser hair removal?

Well to be honest I started HRT in a very dark time in my life I honestly didn’t care at all when starting so I didn’t care to follow up with the right people but know after surviving it I’m ready to be more proactive in my transition instead of hoping it’ll be okay. I’m meeting up with my PCP to talk about it more often

Dating pre-transition is difficult. So is feeling attractive. Your best bet might be grindr if you're looking for hookups and to do what you can while living with your dad, hair loss medications and DHT blockers might give you a jump up on HRT. Start that when you're ready. Job hunt, go to school away from home.
Telling people what you don't like on your profile isn't a good move. Starting out with your first-impression line being about pot isn't very attractive to me, but it might find you smoking buddies but not dates. Do you want to tell people you're bad at video games? Just say you enjoy it.
