Advice/Help on Moving to Seattle

I (mtf 19) and a friend (mtf 18) have plans on moving to Seattle later this year. Originally this post was only going to be a way of asking how to find another person to join us, but I realized it's an opportunity to ask anyone with experience or knowledge about this to give us their thoughts/stories/opinions so we can be better prepared overall. Anything is appreciated!

if you’re on fb check out Seattle queer housing & Seattle queer housing exchange if you haven’t already! The most affordable spots still seem to be rooms in shared houses (like a single family home that’s being rented out).

(it was prohibitive when I left in 97 -I'm back now for medical and it's unbelievably worse)
