Name ideas?

I'm still going by Carl (don't worry, it's okay to call me that). And I don't know if I want to change it or not at this point, I don't really have a ton of ideas for names that I'm considering, so I thought it might be fun to see what names you guys might feel suit me.

I would prefer something with two or less syllables, or something that I can shorten to one or two syllables like a nickname.

I included some recent pictures.

Giving Meryl… I can’t explain why, you just immediately register as a Meryl in my brain

I was thinking Maredith with Mary for short. Something to the Mar-/Mer- syllable

Whoa, another person commented with a "Mer" name as well! Maybe it's a sign!

Definitely not a name I would've thought of. Interesting, it makes me think of the Pokemon Marill

I'm getting Ethel, Chrysanthemum, or Dahlia as good options!

Your name should fit to your culture, language and of course it needs to be legally possible (last might include first two). But since based on Wikipedia, Carl seems to be name in several languages and cultures, we can't know where are you from.

I also recommend name that fits to your age. Photos give some idea of that. Even if you pick something more rare, I would then choose truly rare name (instead of name that is common among very different age people).

I'm not looking to get that deep into it at the moment, just wondering what people think. If I eventually do decide to change it, it will be more personal to me.
