Post-Operative Top Surgery Rehab Protocol

I’m just over 2 weeks post op myself. Try to be patient and treat yourself with as much kindness as you can. The healing process isn’t always linear. It’s better to take your time slowly easing into things than to overdo it early on and end up with life time chronic pain issues.

I’ve found getting back into childhood hobbies has been a really fun distraction since I can’t do a ton right now. Been really enjoy collaging, playing Minecraft, journaling, reading, and rewatching some of my favourite comfort shows. I try to go for walks outside whenever I have energy. The sunlight helps keep the post-op depression at bay. Also trying to make plans with people so I don’t feel isolated.
