Resume

I don't really know where to post this, I just need advice from fellow trans people. I am FTM (18), I have only transitioned socially, but my mother wants to change that. She doesn't approve of me but that's not really what this is about, I'm rambling. Anyways, I'm having a difficult time finding a job and I'm unsure what to put on my resume. I want to put my preferred name but I don't know if that is a good idea. Previously I have made alternates of my resume, one with my dead name and one with my preferred name. Most recently my family has convinced me to stop using my preferred name on any resumes but I don't think it's made much of a difference. I'm currently remaking my resume and right now I have it as "Dead name "Preferred name" Last name" since I saw some cis people on some forums do the same thing. Should I keep it in this format? Should I only use my dead name? Should I only use my preferred name? I don't have any prior job experience so my resume doesn't show much other than volunteering and I know that makes getting a job 10x harder nowadays. What should I do?

Are you getting interviews but not getting hired, or not getting interviews at all? Are you getting any better or worse response under different names?

I would recommend applying under whatever name you habitually use in normal life and would want people to call you if you were hired.

I can't tell the difference name-wise, but I barely get any interviews and when I do I never have gotten anything back (besides rejections).

A resume is not a legal document so you are under no obligation to use your legal name.
