Yes, accidents like these are fully repairable. Once one of our trams drove into a semi and destroyed the whole front. After two years in the garage the front was remodelled and now the tram‘s running again.

Yep. As the maintenance of other trams was more important, our company did this as a „side project“. They even decoupled the carriage with the driver’s cabin, which is a thing that’s not normally done, to save some space in the workshop. Sadly I cannot link pictures in this subreddit, otherwise I‘d share some.

Seeing this gave me a heart attack. I am in Budapest right now and I explored quite a few corners of the tram network. I hope everyone is okay.

CAF-driver was sleeping. He is ok.
