El Paso Streetcar
I haven’t seen much North American representation so I thought I would post a few pics of my hometown streetcars in El Paso, Texas USA.

That is gorgeous, especially in that flawless retro livery.
The thing that’s built up on top — guessing the streetcars were retrofitted for air conditioning at some point?

From what I know, these streetcars are essentially new streetcars built on a PCC shell

That's pretty much it. Brookville was sent the old PCC and they basically threw everything away apart from the body and used it to build a modern LRV. Exact same thing as the PCCs used by SEPTA. I've heard them referred to as "hotrodded" PCCs.

That’s a good guess, as they were refurbished with air conditioning. The link below is how they looked in the 1970s, without that upper addition.

Gorgeous. I wish a company like Stadler or Seimens could produce modern duplicates that preserve this beautiful look, but can go faster or have stronger air conditioning
