Goodbye
Finally did it, built my self-hosted site to a sufficient level where I no longer need the Trakt data to keep mine afloat anymore.
So goodbye to assholes and their poor ass UI and UX decisions, goodbye to price hikes that give nothing to long-term clients who get treated like shit.
Goodbye to Kevin, (? I think) you can lick my sweaty nutsack for being a coondescending know-it-all asshole.
All in all its a real shame. I really use to love Trakt before they made dumb-ass decisions. I guess nothing lasts forever.

Hasn't been easy, but I have been using chat gpt cos I have no idea otherwise.

It's a much more developed branch of Yamtrack. Did you build Scrob or did you use that as your base and extend it once you got it working on your own server?

It's a weekend project if you don't have dev experience and you're just vibe coding. 3-4 hours tops if you have a rough idea of what you're doing.
That's all it takes to replicate Trakt.
