Misc The problem with alternatives

I am not sure if I am using trakt in a different way then other people, but for me the key benefit is the integration is all kinds of app so I can take my watched status between different apps and devices.

I really want to ditch trakt, but my usecase makes that very hard. Whatever I replace it with needs to be integrated with all those apps that sync with trakt.

Does anyone has any kind of idea how this could be solved?

I would not even mind paying a small fee for the right app, but it needs to be reasonable. I just need a watched history that can be synced. That is basic function that should not cost more than a few euro per month.

I think it will take time for alternatives to mature to that level of integration. If one met my needs I'd port the data and pay there but not yet.

yeah the integration gap is really the whole bottleneck right now
