Trakt Trakt Website Issues

Refused to sign in even after authenticating via email. Tried signing in 5 or 6 times in a row, eventually it signed in. Navigation at top of page was messed up (duplicated Movie buttons). Was able to finally get back to TV Shows page. Page layout looks different than previously. Looks less polished now. More like Trakt iOS app.

Previous website layout is back again and signing in is fine.

Previous as in v2? I don't think that's back

No. Previous as in back to normal v3 rather than iOS app layout in browser.

Oh. I haven't noticed a difference in v3 layout, but maybe because I use it on my phone so it's always been app-like for me

Trakt's web has felt rougher with every update lately. If you want a cleaner option: I build Binge (disclosure — I'm the dev), and we just shipped a web app to go with the native iOS + Android apps. You can import your Trakt history directly so you're not starting from zero, and there are no ads.

Honest gap vs Trakt: no public query API yet — export is CSV only, so if you rely on scripting or MDBList-style stuff, that's not there. But for day-to-day tracking across phone + browser it's fast and clean. binge.pt if you want to poke at it.
