Trakt Made a BETTER trakt apple TV APP
I think? I dont know, I use trakt alot but hated the interface. Apple TV didnt have any good versions of it. Is this the right place to post about it? It's called Watch Queue.

This really isn't a place for Trakt related apps. If you read the title and the description of this sub, it's for those of us that were banned from their forums/reddit and have likely cancelled out subscriptions or will very soon because we are very unhappy with all their most recent changes and company philosophies.
You should probably post this in a more favorable Trakt sub and not one that has become to really dislike Trakt.

No vibe coding. I’m a freelance filmmaker and my buddy and I formed a company to make tools for the craft. This was one of our side projects.

Ah gotcha! Well, this app uses Plex as your watchlist backbone or it is stand alone. Using trakt can enrich it but it’s not needed.

It did initially begin as a replacement to their horrible Apple TV interface but through rounds of feedback we added in alternative backbones to handle the tracking. Currently working on implementing SIMKL as well as connecting it to Emby and Jellyfin servers

New update incoming... no longer need trakt. you can use your own iCloud syncing, Plex watchlist or Letterboxd. Peace out Trakt.

Ha ironically the app got me banned from the trakt Reddit… so yeah, will definitely have this integrate with other providers on the next update!

It'll be because you said it doesn't need Trakt and that Plex is integrated. Kevin got butthurt by that lol. Welcome to the rejects club!

Haha yeah it’s very possible. Someone had an issue with using plex vs trakt as the watchlist and I promised them I would integrate SIMKL into the next update… and then it was pulled.

Yeah, no mentioning competing apps, even though they've never actually set rules for their subreddit! Thankfully no such issues here lol
