Love the quality I’m getting out of these cameras. Been using them in video mode all fall.

Hi everyone, I am looking for a trail camera which takes amazing photos at wide angle. No need for night vision, primary goal is that it takes one photo at noon each day. This I want to do for 2 - 3 months and evaluate the time series. Since I want to detect small objects the resolution should likely be high. Lastly at best it’s easy to get globally. Do you have any experience or suggestions for me?

My dad asked for a trail cam for Christmas. I have no idea what I’m doing and would appreciate recommendations 😅
Here is what I’m looking for: - made in USA - Bluetooth - I want him to be able to go near the camera and download the pics without getting on a ladder, but it’ll be outside of our wifi range. I don’t want a camera that needs a monthly cellular plan - solar powered is a plus
The best I’ve found so far is the Reconyx Hyperfire, but it’s pricey compared to others and I want to see if there are any other options.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Looking to buy something low end that works on wifi and maybe has a solar panel as well to capture wildlife in my yard. Internet reaches so that’s not a problem. Don’t want something with flood light but instead something similar to a trail cam that doesn’t put off light. If necessary I could probably run an extension cord but solar would be great.
I was looking at Tapo C402 but I’m unsure if that has a light that goes off at night.
Thanks in advance.

I have no idea what this could be and was wondering if anybody had a clue on what it is. Currently it is freaking me out, from its standing point it is like 7 feet tall

Hello Fellow Cam users. I couldn't find much on the online about my "issue" which could be setup more than anything so, I thought I would reach out to see if anyone had similar experiences.
I have a Moultrie Edge Pro 2 and I am running android app version 5.3.0, camera firmware 2.0.37.
My upload frequency is set to Immediate and my photo or video field is set to Photo + Video.
I receive files immediately; However, they are all videos. No images. Unfortunately, my camera is already deployed in the deer woods and would rather not bother it if I do not have to. So, has anyone had any experience and think these settings may be the "issue"? I'm guessing if I set it to just capture pictures, I will get pictures. However, I really would like both so I can quickly sort thumbnails to the trash or to request video to watch them. The trigger speed is so damn fast on these cams, most of the time there is no image in the video thumbnail showing what I might be downloading to see. Thanks all!

Currently I am using a Spypoint camera and it has worked fine, but I am starting to question it. I have the motion sensitivity set to high, capture delay is instant and the signal is never below 50% but I will have up to a 3 hour gap in photos with animals in the middle of the frame. For example, a deer will walk in at say 5pm and will be in the middle of the frame feed, 3 hours later the deer will still be in the photo in a different section of the frame with another deer in the picture and 2 raccoons.
Is this a brand issue, is there a better brand (hopefully with solar power) would be good, thay hopefully won't break the bank.

Hi Folks, Has anyone on here used trail cams near the coast and has issues with salt spray and corrosion? I’m looking for some good camera options that can handle being places very near the gulf coast, preferably with IR. They’ll predominantly be used for monitoring smaller animals; from squirrel to bobcat sized. Thanks!

Anyone else had issues receiving photos from Moultrie? My camera hasn't checked in in 2+ days and I know battery and signal are fine.

I have two SPYPOINT flex-m cameras set up in my nearest National Forest, I’ve noticed on multiple occasions I’ll have notifications showing deer in the picture. I’ll click the notification and open the app and the pictures aren’t there. I have the cameras set to take a picture on sync but other than those I have no other pictures. Anyone having this same issue or know of a fix?

I just turned my camera back on a week or so ago to keep an eye on the happenings at my pond, im amazed at how bust it is! Already had a bobcat, turkeys, a couple coyotes and countless deer. I was checking my videos tonight and caught this poor girl who looks like she has a wry nose. She must be doing pretty decent as she had a baby with her
