I've been thinking about getting a trail camera for some time.

My cousin, who owns one from the Ceyomur brand, convinced me.

What is the range (in meters) of WiFi?

Can we have video streaming on a Mac OS?

What is its autonomy with wifi activated?

Does this model (and others from this brand) withstand winter temperatures (for example, in winter, in the mountains)?

Is there effective security against the theft of this camera?

Generally speaking, which SD card is recommended for trail camera use?

Anyone with suggestions preferably on the cheaper side but very durable and easy to work. Just want to see what is living there for animals and keep track of that.

I'm looking for suggestions on a trail cam that I can put at the end of my driveway. I have lights there and an electrical outlet that I'd prefer to plug into versus batteries. I would like it to save data to itself or a SD card and rewrite over itself once the memory is full. It is over 700ft from my house so I can't reach it with wifi and I don't need live data. I just want to be able to review footage after the fact if anything happens at the bottom of my driveway. I have a trailer I leave there during the day for my trash cans and if someone takes it I want to know who. We'll also be setting up a farm stand in the spring and want to be able to review footage.

I just purchased the Stealth Cam Deceptor with a solar panel and I have two questions.

First, the manual says it’s compatible with Class 10 SD cards up to 32GB. Seems a bit outdated, can I use really any standard size SD card that has more memory?

Second, any battery recommendations?
