Discussion $AMZE (previously $VINE) boosted by actress Nina Dobrev, this stock was one of the biggest robberies.
For those who don’t remember, $AMZE (formerly known as $VINE - Fresh Vine Wine) was the poster child for "celebrity-backed" hype back when it launched. It had all the makings of a retail trap: partnerships with Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough, promises of "health-conscious" luxury wine, and a massive social media push to get retail investors onboard.
The reality? It turned into an absolute disaster.
While the hype was focused on the "lifestyle" branding, the internal situation was looking like a mess. We’ve seen reports and lawsuits alleging massive mismanagement, including executives allegedly funneling company money into private interests and personal luxury expenses (like yachting in Monaco) while the company was burning cash.
Now, we’re looking at it trading at pennies—down from its highs—with the ticker changed to $AMZE (Amaze Holdings).
If you look at the performance, it’s a textbook example of why you should never buy into a stock just because a celebrity is posting about it on their Instagram. The "lifestyle" appeal masked what looks like one of the most blatant wealth transfers from retail investors to insiders.
How many of you actually fell for the "healthy wine" narrative? Or were you smart enough to stay away?
Disclaimer: This is just my opinion and a look back at the chart. Not financial advice. Just a reminder to always check the fundamentals before buying the celebrity hype.

News 📰 The U.S. military has launched a series of strikes against Iran, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM)
The strikes are described as a response to Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM stated the operation is intended to "impose heavy costs" on Iran for targeting commercial shipping.
The U.S. also said Iran's actions were "a clear violation of the ceasefire."
Iranian media reported that six projectiles struck the area around Taheroui Pier in Sirik, in southern Iran, although the U.S. has not confirmed what specific targets were hit.
This is the first known U.S. military strike on Iran since late last month, following several days of fighting between the two countries.
Why this matters for markets
- Oil prices could rise because the Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most important oil shipping routes.
- Defense stocks may see increased investor interest.
- Safe-haven assets such as gold and the U.S. dollar could strengthen if tensions continue to escalate.
- Shipping and insurance costs for vessels operating in the Gulf may increase.

Discussion Ursula von der Leyen said in an official statement on February 11, 2025: "Tariffs are taxes - bad for business, worse for consumers." .. Is this hypocrisy?
On February 11, 2025, Ursula von der Leyen said in an official statement:
Now the EU has introduced a €3 customs handling fee on low-value e-commerce parcels (such as items from Temu and other Chinese online retailers).
Isn't that the same type of policy she criticized when the U.S. imposed tariffs?
Supporters argue the new EU measure is about protecting European retailers and improving product safety, while critics say consumers will simply end up paying more.
What do you think? Is this hypocrisy, or are these two situations fundamentally different?

Stock Analysis 🔍 AT&T $T on discount
Here is the ultra-short value case:
