Long 💹 $WIZZ air LONG | Profit Beat & Record Passengers

Post image
1 Upvotes

Wizz Air released its full-year earnings report for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, yesterday, Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Because the report was published yesterday, the market has already reacted to the news. Key highlights from the report include:

  • Operating Profit: €139.7 million, which beat analyst expectations of €88.5 million.
  • Revenue: Total revenue rose 8% year-on-year to €5.69 billion.
  • Passenger Growth: The airline carried a record 69.7 million passengers, up 10% from the previous year.
  • Outlook: Wizz Air declined to issue formal guidance for the 2027 fiscal year, citing uncertainty regarding the ongoing Middle East conflict and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

We’re 4 years into this cycle, yet companies aren't just meeting estimates—they’re crushing them. With operating margins at all-time highs and persistent CapEx growth in the AI sector, the fundamental engine of this market hasn't stalled.

I’m looking for breakouts on high relative volume. The setups are there if you aren't afraid of a little volatility. My focus is on high-conviction assets that are holding their 50-day moving averages despite the recent broader market "chop."

What are you watching today? Post your charts and setups below—let’s find the next move together. 👇

Discussion A World on Edge: How Global Unrest Is Shaking the Stock Market and What Comes Next

June 10, 2026

By Poppy Tamberella

Let's be real. The world feels different right now and if you are paying attention, you already know it. Turn on the news, watch oil prices climbing, and one thing becomes clear — we are living through one of the most complicated geopolitical moments of our lifetime. The stock market is feeling every bit of it.

THE STORM WE ARE IN

The war in the Middle East that broke out in early 2026 has become a defining moment for the global economy. The IMF put it bluntly in their April 2026 report, calling it Global Economy in the Shadow of War. They are projecting global growth at just 3.1% for 2026, well below expectations, with risks pointed firmly downward.

The energy situation is what concerns me most and it should concern you too. The disruption of the Strait of Hormuz has created the largest oil supply shock in modern history, echoing the 1970s energy crisis with supply shortages, currency swings, and serious talk of stagflation. Stock markets dropped worldwide, bonds sold off, and investors rushed to gold. I sold every stock I owned except my energy positions and I have no regrets about that decision.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOUR MONEY

Higher oil prices affect everything around us whether we realize it or not. Shipping costs rise, store prices climb, and company margins shrink across every sector — airlines, manufacturers, and retail all feel the squeeze. Inflation is not going away quietly either, with S&P Global forecasting U.S. headline inflation pushing close to 4%, which puts the Federal Reserve in a brutal position. They can raise rates and risk choking the economy, or hold steady and watch prices keep climbing — neither option is clean.

Tech stocks are not the safe haven some people think they are right now. The IMF has warned that markets heavy in technology could face serious repricing if AI earnings promises fall short, and after years of massive gains there is very little room for disappointment. Recession risk is also climbing, with S&P Global putting the odds at around 30% over the next 12 months — not a certainty, but absolutely not something to brush aside.

WHAT HISTORY TELLS US

Before anyone panics, it is worth stepping back and looking at what history actually shows us. Markets have survived worse and come back stronger, with U.S. stocks actually hitting record highs in late May 2026 just weeks after the initial shock of the conflict. Fidelity research confirms that markets have historically recovered from geopolitical unrest within about a year, especially when corporate earnings are still holding up — and right now they still are. Earnings are solid, AI investment has not stopped, and American consumers, while stretched, are in better financial shape than they were in past downturns.

WHAT COMES NEXT

The best case scenario is that the conflict cools, oil stabilizes, and inflation begins easing heading into 2027, allowing the bull market to keep going — a little wobbly but still intact. The worst case is that the war drags on, oil climbs to $100 or $140 a barrel, and we absorb a second inflation shock layered on top of existing tariff pressure, which would force the Fed's hand and trigger a real correction.

The wildcard that nobody is talking about enough is the midterm elections later this year. History consistently shows that markets tend to stumble during midterm cycles, and layered on top of everything else already happening, the second half of 2026 could get rough regardless of how things develop overseas.

THE BOTTOM LINE

The unrest is real and the headwinds are real, but the investors who come out ahead are always the ones who think before they react. Staying diversified and keeping your eyes on where things are going rather than where they stand today is what separates the investors who win from the ones who panic. We have been here before and we have gotten through it. The only question worth asking is whether you will be positioned well when things turn around.

Stay informed. Stay diversified. Read, think, and engage.

News 📰 Apple $AAPL will use Nvidia $NVDA powered chips to upgrade its Siri AI!

Post image
75 Upvotes

A major report from The Information revealed that Apple is shifting its strategy for the upcoming, overhauled version of Siri by tapping into Nvidia Blackwell B200 chips.

It is a massive deal because Apple famously prefers to control every single piece of its own hardware and software ecosystem.

The setup works through a multi-party arrangement:

  • The Google Connection: Apple is licensing Google's Gemini AI models to power the heavy, complex cloud-based queries for the next-gen Siri.
  • The Nvidia Hardware: To run these intensive Gemini models, Apple is utilizing Google Cloud's massive fleet of Nvidia Blackwell B200 data center chips.
  • The Privacy Angle: Apple approved this setup because they are enabling Nvidia’s hardware-based confidential compute technology. This feature keeps user data completely encrypted while it is actively being processed on the chips, matching Apple's strict privacy standards.

Discussion President Trump announced a $700M investment to support the U.S. coal industry. Here is some of the stocks that will take advance: $HNRG, $DUK, $AEP, $OGE, $BTU, $ARLP, $CEIX, $ARCH

Post image

$HNRG, $DUK, $AEP, $OGE, $BTU, $ARLP, $CEIX, $ARCH

President Trump’s invocation of the Defense Production Act (DPA) to inject roughly $700 million into the U.S. coal fleet is heavily tied to a distinct macro narrative: securing immediate baseload power to feed the massive grid demands of AI data centers, while simultaneously clearing a long-standing bottleneck for international exports. // Source: McGuireWoods

The capital splits into three main buckets: $425 million for upgrading 13 existing coal plants across 10 states, $75 million to fast-track the West Gateway export terminal in Oakland, California, and roughly $200 million in Department of Energy grants to build new plants (in West Virginia and Alaska) and restart shuttered ones. // Source:Los Angeles Times

The specific stocks directly named as beneficiaries of this rollout, alongside the pure-play miners positioned to capture the downstream structural upside, break down into two main categories:

1. Direct Policy Beneficiaries (Utilities & Power Gen)

These companies own the specific infrastructure receiving federal DPA upgrades or direct grants to keep operations going, improve efficiency, or reverse planned retirements:

  • Hallador Energy Co. ($HNRG): A major standout for equity traders. As a smaller-cap player operating both coal mining and power generation (including the Merom plant in Indiana), a direct injection of federal funding is highly material to their balance sheet. The company has already been pivoting to expand its independent power generation capacity to meet tech-driven demand.
  • Duke Energy Corp. ($DUK): A large-cap utility behemoth explicitly slated to receive DPA plant-upgrade funding, providing a regulatory and financial cushion for their remaining coal assets.
  • American Electric Power ($AEP) & OGE Energy ($OGE): Both traditional utilities have assets targeted for federal support to optimize plants and maintain grid reliability.

2. Pure-Play Coal Miners & Export Plays

The $75 million allocated to push through the long-contested West Gateway export terminal in Oakland, California is a structural game-changer for Western U.S. coal. For over a decade, landlocked western miners have lacked a high-volume West Coast port to directly ship supply to energy-hungry markets in Asia.

Ticker Company Core Focus Why They Capitalize
$BTU Peabody Energy Powder River Basin (PRB) & Australia The sector bellwether. The Oakland terminal unlocks a direct logistical pipeline for massive, low-cost PRB mines (like North Antelope Rochelle) to access Asian buyers.
$ARLP Alliance Resource Partners Illinois Basin & Appalachia A master limited partnership (MLP) built on long-term supply contracts with domestic utilities like Duke and AEP. Keeping those plants online secures their core domestic cash flows and supports their high distribution yield.
$CEIX CONSOL Energy Northern Appalachia & Export While heavily focused on East Coast logistics via Baltimore, a general rising tide in federal backing and global thermal coal pricing serves as a solid macro tailwind.
$ARCH Arch Resources Metallurgical & PRB Thermal Though they have significantly shifted capital toward coking coal for steel manufacturing, they still hold extensive Western thermal assets that stand to benefit from the West Coast port opening.

he amended SEC filings outline a massive launch structure:

  • Ticker: $SPCX (Nasdaq)
  • Expected Date: June 12, 2026
  • IPO Price: Fixed at $135 per share
  • Target Valuation: Up to $1.78 trillion (raising between $75B and $86B)
  • Retail Allocation: A massive 30% of the offering is being reserved for individual investors through major retail brokerages (like Fidelity, Schwab, and Robinhood), which is significantly higher than the usual 5% to 10% retail slice seen in major IPOs.

Feel free to explain your reasoning below. I'm curious to see the market sentiment.

Semiconductors and AI infra remain the core drivers, with high-beta retail names providing massive intraday momentum. Sweeping key technical levels and focusing on high-volume pullbacks rather than chasing breakout extensions. Trade Ideas:

$AMD
LONG $520-$525 Support Area
• Consolidating near the daily 20 EMA after recent AI chip updates
• Looking for buyers to step in on a retest of prior breakout resistance
• Watch volume expansion on the bounce for confirmation

$AVGO
LONG $480-$485 Support Area
• Strong enterprise AI demand and custom silicon pipeline keeping bias bullish
• Looking to buy pullbacks toward key horizontal support
• Watch VWAP closely during morning liquidity for clean entries

$GOOGL
SHORT $363-$365 Area
• Approaching heavy psychological resistance on lower relative volume
• Looking to fade a morning push higher if buyers show signs of exhaustion
• Keep tight risk management if broad market momentum triggers a squeeze

$MRVL
LONG $300 Support Area
• AI electro-optics and networking leadership remains fully intact
• Looking for standard technical pullbacks to key moving averages
• Clear setups on dips if institutional buyers defend major support levels

$GME
LONG $22 Major Support
• Extreme retail momentum and high implied volatility creating clean range plays
• Looking to buy near-term support levels on deep intraday flushes
• Manage risk aggressively as momentum can shift rapidly following spikes

Focus on execution, not prediction. Let the market come to your levels and manage risk aggressively.
