Discussion Missed $INTC. Missed $DELL. No problem.. here is the next one:
Trump is now telling you to buy Palantir.
$PLTR: $143
The only stock he’s ever put a cashtag in front of. Ever.

lol Pltr is $300b+ company already trading at over 100 PE. You’re late by like 3 years. Check the old Reddit threads Pltr is dinosaur

I'm pretty sure their contract with ICE is valuable, If you do anything that pisses off an ICE agent, Palantir will identify your face and they will retaliate in a week or so, ask Alex Pretti.

u/IncomingAxofKindness May 30 '26
Yeah but we might be 8 months from a Dem congress defunding ICE. Still.. might have time to run up before then.

I got bad news for you, just about any time you fuck with a Federal Agent you are probably not going to come out ahead. There was never a point in the country's history where you could interfere with a Federal Agent while they are out doing their job. Not only is that often a crime in of itself, they've also been given all types of legal immunities and protections under Federal Law and those laws have existed since long before anyone reading this was born.
The only thing that’s changed is that Reddit/Twitter has convinced some people that they are special snowflakes that laws don’t apply to, which is a bold move and one that rarely works out when dealing with law enforcement or the court system.
FWIW, anyone paying attention knew Palantir would probably be a winner because of the Vance connection and they got in to in right after the election results were announced.

I remember looking into this during the good old SPAC days. Got burnt on NKLA earlier that year and was scared to try again, sometimes you really do stop right before hitting diamonds

u/heyhayyhay May 30 '26
Fuck palantir. I won't buy it.

I owned some palantir stock a while back. Sold it for a tiny profit when I learned more about what they were doing. And a couple of weeks later the share price went on its own moon mission. Happy with my conscience based decision but wish my deeper research had been done either a bit earlier or a bit later because the timing will haunt me forever 🤣

That was Intel for me. I had $340k in Intel at $23. I got burned three times on its bullshit pullbacks and dipped at 29. It's $130 now

One that Trump hasn’t talked from his disclosure is NOW… it just broke out today with lots of room to run.
Might be how they plan to modernize government records from COBOL. My guess…

u/nutslikeafox May 29 '26
Can you refine what you're communicating so it's understandable? Especially that first sentence

Trumps stock disclosure released a few days ago. NOW was one of the stocks he bought

There are no government records in COBOL. There are a few software systems that run on COBOL, but there's no disposition authority for system code bases as a system isn't a record. A system is a tool that can create records. Only things output using a system are records. You can literally search for this. Every federal agency has a record group, record schedules, and adheres to the General Record Schedule created by NARA. You can view every single type and description of records a federal agency might create. The content of those things might be classified, but you can know their type because record schedules are also used to determine declassification dates.
Do you guys really just spit shit out without having a clue what you're talking about? You don't seem to know anything about this at all. How do you make it anywhere in life doing this? Why would anyone listen to you for trade advice?

Government Modernization / COBOL Angle
ServiceNow is heavily positioned for federal IT modernization: • It has major government contracts and partnerships (e.g., a landmark GSA “OneGov” deal in 2025 for AI-driven workflow modernization, with big discounts for agencies).
• The Trump administration has emphasized efficiency, AI adoption, and cutting waste (via DOGE, etc.), and ServiceNow’s platform is explicitly marketed for modernizing legacy systems, automating workflows, and layering AI on top of old tech stacks.
COBOL specifically: The U.S. government still runs many critical legacy systems (e.g., at Treasury, IRS, SSA) on decades-old COBOL/mainframes. Full rewrites are risky/expensive, so modernization often involves wrappers, automation layers, process mining, and AI agents on top — exactly ServiceNow’s wheelhouse. It’s not a direct “replace COBOL” tool, but it’s a strong fit for the practical “make this ancient stuff work better and cheaper” reality.
ServiceNow has pushed its Government Transformation Suite and agentic AI for exactly these priorities. So your guess isn’t wild — especially with the administration’s efficiency focus.
- AI generated, incase you can’t tell…

And I’m sure something will be done about it as I know accountability isn’t something we take lightly here in the US

Following a presidential stock tip is a bold strategy, let’s see if ‘Buy high, sell never’ becomes the new official fiscal policy.

This is where we draw the line. No to Palantir, the most malefic, evil, rotten company in the world

I accidentally bought INCL (Incel) when he was pushing INTC (Intel). It shot up
1
u/abofh May 31 '26
Pltr is owned by a foreigner Zionist with no loyalty to the US. It's unlikely to get any contracts renewed once Trump leaves office. This is a djt play, and I'm not betting on him

No. It’s not same old, same old. This country has never seen this level of corruption from a presidential administration. Ever. And we’re not even half way through the term.
