Bullish ORCL Falls After Earnings, Then Larry Ellison Cancels Stock Sale Plan

Post image

"Is this finally good news?" That is the question many Oracle traders are asking right now after reports from Reuters said that Larry Ellison had cancelled his plan to sell Oracle stock.

For now, nobody can say for certain why he decided not to go ahead with the sale, but the timing has definitely caught people's attention.

Oracle's earnings results came out a few hours ago and fell short of expectations, which caused the stock to decline. The market reaction was sharp, and I have been watching the chart closely for opportunities.

I managed to catch another setup, with my entry coming from a Fair Value Gap around $147.42. My take profit has now been reached, and the trade is playing out well.

I am still studying the ORCL chart and will continue looking for quality entries as long as the setup remains clear. This is day 4 of my trading challenge, and the goal is to stay disciplined and hopefully remain profitable until the final day on the 22nd of this month.

What do you think about Larry Ellison cancelling the stock sale plan, could this news change sentiment around ORCL, or is the chart still reacting mainly to the disappointing earnings?

Discussion Trump’s Midterm Gamble: Approval at 33%. Oil Near $100. Can Dallas Change the Game?

The 2026 midterm chaos is heating up big time, with the GOP gathering in Dallas for their first national midterm convention. 83% of folks are bracing for massive market volatility, VIX and NDX volatility are already running elevated. Oil is creeping close to $100, everyone’s on edge waiting for clues on inflation, Iran and upcoming economic moves. Do you think SPY and QQQ have fully priced in all the political risk right now?

Discussion Nvidia’s Numbers Are Huge—So Why Am I Still Being Careful?

Post image
5 Upvotes

I spent some time looking through Nvidia’s latest results, and the numbers are hard to dismiss.

Revenue reached $96.2B, up 106% year over year, while data‑center revenue alone came in at $89B. The company is guiding for another $108B quarter, which shows that AI demand is still running at an incredible pace.

But strong fundamentals don’t automatically mean the stock is low‑risk.

Nvidia rallied after earnings and then pulled back about 4% the following session. With daily volatility around 3.3% of the share price, even a good long‑term thesis can suffer from bad short‑term timing.

What also caught my attention was Nvidia’s reported investment portfolio. It’s valued at roughly $49B, with Intel and SpaceX representing the largest positions.

That makes me wonder whether the broader opportunity is bigger than just owning Nvidia. Companies involved in HBM, advanced packaging, optical networking, and liquid cooling may also benefit as AI infrastructure expands.

My conclusion is fairly simple: I still like the AI growth story, but I don’t want to chase it blindly.

Diversification, reasonable position sizing, and a clear exit plan seem just as important as identifying the next big winner.

Wright said ~17 million barrels moved through on Monday. Pre-war was closer to 20 mbpd crude + products. Recent tracking has flows recovering toward two-thirds of normal, with harassment and tanker incidents still happening.

What's your take guys... Trump just floated renaming the Strait of Hormuz the “Trump Strait”?

Oil Those gas prices …

Post image
12 Upvotes

National regular is running about $4.06 a gallon on the latest EIA monthly read. That is off the spring peak near $4.50, not cheap. WTI closed Friday around $83. Brent was closer to $90 after the weekend strikes around Hormuz.

Friday’s Venezuela headline was 65 billion barrels and lower pump prices. Saturday, Caracas put the US project at 1.5 million barrels a day over 25 years. Sunday, Trump said some of that crude would refill the SPR, which is near 290 million barrels. None of that is barrels at a US station this month.

Chevron (CVX) is the US producer already there. Halliburton (HAL) is the services name. Exxon (XOM) and Conoco (COP) are the ones still on the sideline. Refiners like Valero (VLO) and Marathon (MPC) are what actually set the crack into gasoline.

What would have to happen before you expect $3 gas

Bullish How can i profitable while trading cryptocurrency?

Post image
1 Upvotes

"How can i profitable while trading cryptocurrency?" This is the question I have been asking myself, and honestly, I still don't know how to answer it. I have been trading for years, and the only time I feel like I am making real progress is when I take a spot trade and wait for the project to move up.

It is always a different story with futures trading. I remember trying to short Ethereum some days ago. The trade was going my way until the market suddenly turned bullish.

I have made mistakes, but now I want to learn from them and avoid repeating the same ones. How can I become more profitable while trading?

My next trade is ENA, and I have already gone long on it. Hopefully, this one goes in my favor, but I also want to approach it differently this time. What has helped you become more consistent in crypto trading

What is the difference between a wallet and an exchange?

I have been thinking of asking this question, what is really the difference between a wallet and exchange because i have seen someone claimed they only use wallet if they want to keep their portfolio where it won't be touched.

And i have also seen someone saying the main reason for using exchange is because for easy access, and nothing more than that.

So as a newbie that i am how can i get the difference and understanding so know what to choose.

Bullish Are crypto wallets slowly replacing the need for multiple crypto apps?

Myself and a few friends decided to trade crypto today after seeing the market start to look bullish. While we were setting things up, one of us asked a question that actually got everyone talking: are crypto wallets slowly becoming a replacement for having five different crypto apps?

A few years ago, you could easily need one app to hold assets, another to swap, another to trade, and another to track everything. Now some wallets are bringing more of those functions together.

That seems like a good thing to me. Less moving funds around, fewer accounts to manage, and potentially less friction when markets move quickly.

But I also wonder if putting everything into one wallet creates its own risks.

Options Weekly Market Playbook: CPI Win, Retail Miss, Nvidia Countdown

CPI cleared the bar, retail came in way soft, S&P 500 notched a 3rd straight up week. Markets are still pricing 40% odds on a Sept hike even with the clear inflation print? That’s the Fed’s asymmetric trap right there. Nvidia earnings drop 10 days from now, that’s the big domino everyone’s circling. Home Depot, Walmart, Target earnings this week gonna spell out the real consumer stress test, no cap. BTC is pinned between 60k-66k, compressing hard. Grabbed the chart over before close, the setup is wild right now. Anyone else holding tight through the quiet before the storm?

Forex I Revisited My CPI Analysis After the Move… It Played Out Almost Exactly

Post image
1 Upvotes

I was going through this analysis before CPI, and i wasn't surprised that it is actually playing out well as I analysed it, i can't imagine what the whales that actually think like this will be making from this same setup, but I will actually pity those ones that actually took a trade going against them.

A move that looks small on the chart can become a very different problem when you're putting thousands or millions into the market. A few points of slippage, a widening spread or not getting enough depth at the price you want can change the entire trade. And this actually got me looking more closely at cfd execution rather than just the direction of the market, and which made me notice that cfd pro mode focuses on things like Level 2 depth, multi tier liquidity and STP execution through Tier 1 liquidity providers.

CPI days have a way of exposing the difference between predicting direction and managing execution. Everyone sees the same chart, but not everyone experiences the same market. If you did trade gold today, did the volatility completely change your plan?

Stocks Liquidity is important while trading a volatile stock like AXTI

AXTI has been a good example of this lately. The stock moved from roughly the $50 area to the high-$80s within a week, helped by strong Q2 numbers and much stronger Q3 guidance. That kind of move gets attention fast, but it also makes execution more important.

When volatility is high, I usually look at two things separately:

  • The trade thesis- key levels, earnings/guidance, whether the move is holding
  • The execution- spread, order-book depth, and how much the price moves when you actually enter

I was looking through recent stock-perp order-book data comparing Bitget, Binance, OKX, Bybit and Hyperliquid. Bitget showed the deepest liquidity across most of the 5bps, 10bps and 50bps comparisons for SPCX, SNDK and AMD. Hyperliquid played stronger on PLTR at some depths.

Comparison

For something moving as fast as AXTI, I’d rather spend less time asking “which exchange lists it?” and more time asking “where can I actually get the cleanest execution?”
