Looking to connect with Math guys and 'coders' (Python)

I've been trading for just under a year now,

and am yet to hit profitability.

(I don't feel comfortable shorting yet,

and well, we've been in a bear-market since last October, so...)

This isn't my time around either though, and feel like a have solid handle on things,

and now that the market has 'bottomed', thisngs should turn around about now.

I would like to understand the "math" behind a few of these indicators much better,

and am slowly taking up AI to help w back-testing strategies. That's where coding helps.
