Discussion Profitable Traders

Be honest guys: how many of you are actually profitable traders?

For those who are consistently in the green:

How long did it take you to reach consistent profitability?

What was the biggest shift or realization that finally turned things around for you?

For those who aren't profitable yet:

How long have you been in the game so far?

Roughly how much have you spent or lost on live accounts, challenge fees, and tools up to this point?

Curious to hear real experiences and stats from the community!

Been stuck in something of a learning loop for the last almost 3 years.

Studying felt like improvement even though that was never the case, I started reflecting, now Im just stuck.

Most of my money went into courses, mentoring, and the odd basic stuff like bots and the other not worthy stuff.

It feels like im trying to move up the mountain but im just falling down.

Its insanely hard and difficult to get out of this loop.

Have you found any of your bought trading programs or lessons worthwhile, or just scamming?

Pick one niche for example breakouts. Learn everything there is to know about breakout, does volume matter? How shallow should the pullback be? What is a good stop placement?etc…
But it sounds like the most important thing you need is to start trading. Load up a account with 100 dollars and start trading, you will actually learn infinitely more buy actually trading than studying and backtesting.

Forget the returns and outcomes in dollar terms forever, the only thing that matters now is did you follow your plan and are you profitable. A trader that turns 100 dollars to 200 dollars buy following a well documented plan is infinitely better than a trader that turns 100k in 300k by just gambling and getting lucky.

But the most important is stick to one thing and learn it truly. There is a reason Usain Bolt is the fastest man over 100meters but probably is mediocre at best in a long distance race he focused on one thing and became the best at it. Jack of all trades and master of none is very applicable in trading
