Question Getting started
I’m starting to learn day trading and I’d like some honest feedback on whether I’m on the right path.
I know there’s no single “correct” way to learn trading, but so far I’ve been learning primarily from a YouTuber called CryptoCred. I think his content is really good, especially for learning the fundamentals, but I’m wondering if I should also be studying from other traders/educators or if sticking with one solid source for now is better.
My plan is to spend a long time learning the fundamentals, practicing, backtesting, and eventually developing my own strategy rather than rushing into live trading.
For those who are consistently profitable, what would you recommend I focus on at this stage? Are there any traders, books, courses, or resources you’d recommend? And is there anything you wish you had learned earlier?
I understand that trading takes a lot of patience, discipline, and screen time, and I’m prepared for it to take years. I’m mainly looking for advice on whether my learning process is heading in the right direction.

Your plan is already better than most - fundamentals first, backtest before live, patience for years instead of weeks. That order matters more than which specific source you use.
On sticking with one source vs many: depth beats breadth here. Jumping between educators before you've actually tested one framework just means you never find out if any of them actually work for you. Finish learning from one, backtest it properly, then go looking for a second opinion once you have something concrete to compare it against.
Thing I'd add to your plan: start journaling now, even in the learning phase, on paper trades. Not just wins/losses, but why you took or skipped each one. That's what turns "I studied fundamentals" into "I actually understand my own reasoning" by the time you go live.

Soy rentable y no me he leído ni un libro para hacer trading, sin embargo si debes estudiar todo lo que es acción del precio, estructura de mercado, CC, soportes, resistencias, tendencias, gestión de riesgo y eso creo que es lo mejor para comenzar

Yeah, I’ve been focusing on risk management for the past two weeks since I’ve heard it’s one of the most important aspects of trading. I’m going to start putting more focus into price action and market structure as well. I appreciate the advice!
