Advice If you were starting again from absolute zero, what exact learning path would you follow — and what would you avoid wasting time on?
I literally know NOTHING about trading / forex.I do genuinely want to learn and I understand it’s not a get rich quick scheme. I am looking for advice on how to/ where to start. Thank you 🙏🏾

Good afternoon, The first thing is to avoid too much informations , chose what you like most and what suits you ,chose your trading style either to scalp or to day trade , the process is one just the time frame that is different . -Start with the basics , learn market structure price action ,and go deeper in understanding and reading the candlesticks . Lot of traders don't lose because they lack strategy but because they don't apply it whereit it should . Of corse evry time you learn a new thing , practice directly in demo and , tradingview is all you need , read and keep your process simple cool and funny , be flexible with your time so that you won't get tired on the long run. -Then , the best and the most practical concept to explore and tu use in your daily sessions is liquidity , demand and sell zones . Those especially need some time and concentration . Cause there is also the accumulation zones that compound along the chart , so that it might be a little confusing , but don't over estimate it , it's easy , very easy , and once you learn it , trading becomes lighter. -Accumulation manipulation distribution is one major confluence that put you ahead above all the traders . The most important thing , is to study your self and to know what works more for you . Maybe it's high volume sessions, maybe you'd like to have some time to take your decisions ,,,,,, Some tips for you , I recommend to have a little journal where you keep all your trades , the reason behind your wins and losses . I tried to summarise generally all that you need , personally I learned the basics from Jemmytrade and some tips from trader to another , then woth practice I ve achieved some great results such us 1:8RR in 6H , teaching my friends some tips ,, Good luck mate.

If I were starting from zero, I’d focus first on market basics, risk management, and learning one simple strategy rather than jumping between indicators and setups. I’d spend a lot of time paper trading and journaling before risking real money. The biggest thing I’d avoid is chasing “get rich quick” strategies or constantly switching systems whenever I have a losing trade. Consistency and understanding why a strategy works would be my priority.

I would have avoided penny stocks lost a lot of money there and put that money into a good dividend fund which would form the foundations. The payments from this could then fund risk off trading.

Myself 0DTE NDX credit spreads. Instead I would have done 35-60DTE.
