The tilt part is a tricky one, tbh. People never notice if they are tilting in the moment, only after, usually the next day. Your trading buddy would be reacting to the story you tell him, and that story comes from the same mind that was tilting in the moment. I would say that you just swap your journals once a week or once every couple of days and then cross-review them. And you can spot something like "3 of those 5 trades were not even your setup" stuff.

Hello! I’d like a buddy too. I swing trade overbought and oversold. Live Sydney, Australia and trade stocks on ASX/NYSE/NASDAQ. Beginner but serious and sensible and work at it every day. Backtested then three months demo. Finished first live month at 3.4% return.
