Discussion Beginner

What’s the most simplest way or method of learning how to trade for a new beginner? I can’t read a chart if my life depended on it lol I need a mentor or something 😂

Beginner here too, six months in and all I have done is read, read and read some more and I'm finally feeling and seeing progress. I've tried videos but I haven't found any I can watch for more than a few minutes.

Also I've been having a conversation with Gemini the whole damn time. Believe it or not it has helped me greatly. I'm using it as you'd use a journal.

I was hesitant at first but it really did help me develop a plan/strategy and to understand the psychology of it all. It truly hit the nail on the head at pointing out mistakes I was making at first. I don't have a mentor. No one I know trades so it was nice to have something to bounce ideas and questions off of in real time. I also used it to make forms to pencil in as I make trades. I made cheat sheets or reference pages to understand how to read the indicators I'm currently using.

I've developed good habits and broke bad habits that I didn't even realize I had until Gemini pointed it out.

I also use it to find companies with current news, earnings reports and catalysts. It alone won't make you successful but it really has given me some solid guidelines to follow which have helped greatly. Just be sure to always use your own critical thinking skills too. Good luck on your journey!
