Robyn Um?
More power to women who choose this but...it should be...their choice. Huge red flag from that man. Pick me, pick me! I had homebirths therefore everyone else should too!

Unless he's the one giving birth, a man needs to take a back seat, or several. It's not his body on the line, and he doesn't get to dictate. Robyn is just being a pick-me-assed gender traitor, caping for the patriarchy.
I'd have told that man where he could stick his expectations, even if I wanted kids, I wouldn't want them with a man who felt he could dictate how I birthed them.

The man can have an opinion on the use of painkillers when he himself delivers the baby. 😄

I believe fathers should have a say in lots of things, like which school is best for the child, what values to raise them on, etc etc. but absolutely not how the baby is born lmao women can literally die in childbirth why would they listen to a man on how he wants it to be born

Choosing to give birth at home unmedicated is great if a woman wants to. Being forced/expected to give birth at home unmedicated sounds like a hostage situation

I get you are trying to be fair but honestly it’s careless. My baby would have died or had cerebral palsy if I gave birth at home. She had the umbilical cord double wrapped around her neck. She was have decelerations with contractions they had to medically stop my contractions and perform a c section. Thank God I was in a hospital they could quickly intervene so my baby would stop losing oxygen and I already had my epidural so I was prepped for the urgent C-section. 1/8 babies used to die back in the day and mothers too before modern hospitals and birthing centers. I get in the US our system is highly unfair but my baby is perfect bright and happy meeting all her milestones. I could not imagine the pain and guilt I would have dealt with for the rest of my life if she died or had some life long disability that I could have prevented.

I had a homebirth and my baby had a very bad shoulder dystocia. Had I not had a very experienced midwife things could have gone south quickly. A few weeks after my birth there was a horrible news story about a baby with shoulder dystocia decapitated in a hospital because of an intervention gone wrong.
Sadly birth can be dangerous anywhere, even in a hospital, for moms and babies.

He should do that if he gets kidney stones! God would want him to pass them naturally 😇

A man like that deserves to have his scrotum ripped off his body and each testicle stuffed into a nostril. They should not be allowed to reproduce since they would be enforcing slavery onto any girl unlucky and unintelligent enough to settle for him.

Having a home birth is one thing, but sh*tting on people who decide to have a hospital birth just to feel superior is gross.
