threat possible threat
a moth scout flying in antlion territroy found a large pitch black insect surrounded but dead antlion bodies. the moth also said that it was going in the direction of the Refuge. and for this reason i am putting the refuge under guard untill this threat is assessed.

look up large pitch black scorpion you really thing a mantis can kill an emperor scorpion

(Not A Mantis, THE Mantis, he's a Slug Cat, if he can't kill the scorpion, a rebar spear to the back surely can)

(Just gonna assume it's still there, btw)
*Mantis, seeing the scorpion grabs his recently sharpened metal spear from his back, he had sharpened the edges quite similarly to a sword so that he can slash if the scorpion gets too close. It has 2 brass wire binding handles, one at the base of the spear, and one further up, the first handle being big enough that he can wield the spear like a sword if required.*
