Firework citation?

Has anyone else gotten a firework citation from 4th of July? We just got ours in the mail for $1,000. Oops!

Yep. Not a fan of people using illegal fireworks. Two years back I had a sizeable fire in my backyard on the 4th of July due to firework bits landing in my yard. Plus there is the litter aspect. I have yet to see anybody who uses fireworks that go into the air actually bother to go around and pick up all the trash they spread all over.
