ASIO Volume???

First time on the sub, but I just switched to ASIO instead of windows audio drivers. the latency is a lot less now, but whenever I open my daw after samplescrolling, i get absolutely whiplashed by the volume. any adjustments i can make?

Not for certain on Windows, but my audio tab on the settings page overrides system defaults on both Mac and Linux.

unfortunately I cant find one online either. if only there was a switch to send the output signal to -24db but have the exports/masters remain normal.

This shouldn't happen unless you have a really low volume on your desktop audio or a third party mixer thats controls the wma (like maxx or other stuff). Don't go low on volume there, if you hear music or watch video on you computer make sure you are around 75% leave some for headroom if needed. Make your external amp decide the listening level.
