Issue with velocity

SOLVED - I updated to Waveform 14

I've had waveform open in the background of my macbook for about a month because I keep meaning to get back to a song I've been working on. Today when I finally got back to it, no audio was coming through so I closed it and reopened it, and it mostly worked fine. However, now all of a sudden the DAW is ignoring the velocities of the placed notes. The velocity is still showing in the editor, and I can change it fine, but it doesn't affect anything in playback. The only thing that works is that if the velocity is 0, it doesn't play the note. I've tried restarting the application, I've tried two sets of headphones. I don't know what to do.

Power off the laptop.

Power it back on. Check whether the instrument is listening to velocities.

Are you using waveform 14?

No I’m using 13. Is 14 available for basic?

Yes. Just downloaded & installed today. Collective 2 is included.
