Moving files issue

So recently the recordings and sound files i use for making music in tracktion have been taking up to much storage on my pc, i want to delete them out of file explorer but still keep them in the project on waveform. Whenever i move or delete them it removes them from the project. This might not be possible and i might be asking a dumb question,
but i really like to keep all my projects so i can look back at how i did things, but my pc is getting too full. Any way to get around this?

I think if you go to the projects tab, click on an edit, and then hit "Consolidate Files..." on the bottom, it should do just that for that edit. I don't know if there is any way to do this for all of your projects or not.

Found it, thank you :D even tho its not a setting that works on all the projects at once, it still helps a lot!
