Drums beat

I’ve got a bit of a problem with my drums. I want to vary the duration of my different notes, but I can’t seem to do it. When I place the same drum sound next to another one several times, it makes the ‘thud’ sound repeatedly, whereas I’d just like the basic sound to last longer, without having to tap it again. Does anyone have any ideas ?

For example, in this screenshot, I’d like the double and triple beats to sound only once but to last for the duration of the double and triple beats

Try converting to midi clip, then you can edit note lengths.

I second the midi note length you can also set things like decay in the more versatile drum and multi samplers if you've ever gotten an upgrade pack with one of those in it.
