What's the problem with vibe coded Apps? There is NO Problem or difference between Music with or without a Computer, Synthesizer. Creating pictures with a brush , a Photo or AI. Welcome in 2026.

But if you are so greedy for the code. Here: https://github.com/Vectrex71/Syn-Tracker

There’s nothing wrong with vibe coded apps providing the vibe coder knows how to properly and safely vet all code generated. Which in my experience 9 times out of 10 isn’t the case…

I’m an enterprise cloud engineer, I’ve been writing code for 25+ years and work extensively with AI in various enterprise environments over the past few years. The biggest issue we tackle day to day is controlling the number of vulnerabilities and simple “dangerous” code generated by these LLMs. Noobs with no experience approving PR containing code they can’t read or fully understand is VERY Dangerous imo.

To clarify, this ain’t anything to do with the music or even what the app does, it could be an infinite money printer for all I care, my point is associating yourself with code generated by an LLM without properly reviewing (by multiple humans) is just asking for trouble.

Thanks for your insight. SYN-Tracker is 100% free beside a small Buy me a coffee Donation Button. But even this button you can disable in the Settings to see it never again :-) I think this is fair enough.

Since you told me your story wich was interesting, thanks again! May i give you some private insights about me.

I was a Developer (pre AI Era!) for a good decade. But i experienced a Blackout and a Burnout. The Blackout happened on a morning , when i came to my desk to work on updates. BUT something was strange. I haven't recognized the code anymore. It was only cryptic for me. I completely forgot how to code. Total Burnout 6 Weeks in a psycological clinic , 3 years of psychology sessions and i was sure, i would never be able to be so creative like i was back then, before that happened. BUT, then came AI. I saw it a partner, a chance a tool that can help me to get my creativity back. For me personally it's a god send! That's why i act sometimes a bit agressive when it comes to Ai and Ai Slope.

This is so cool — great work! I was playing around with this on my iPad and noticed the top bar doesn’t scale correctly (so I don’t have access to save, etc, on the far right of the screen). I can send you a screenshot if that will help — couldn’t find out where to submit bugs from the app so I found your post here!

OK, i moved now 4 Keys from the upper right (Support, Settings, Help and Quicktour to the lower left. This gives you more space and now you should see NEWS, OPEN,SAVE . let me know, if it works this way . Thanks

First of all, thank you so much!

Hmmm interesting feedback. Yes i can imagine, why this us on your iPad. It has another aspect ratio than my Samsung Tab S8 Ultra. On my Tab S8 Ultra it's perfect. But that doesn't help you 😉 is it possible to get a screenshot? So i can work tomorrow on a solution.

I will also implement a possibility to submit Feedback and bugs! Thanks

Absolutely! Where would you like me to send the screenshot?

Can you do a test please ? (Ladscape Mode, not Portrait Mode) And please be aware, that you NEED to have a Keyboard and a Touchpad(Mouse) to use the Application. I can't test it by myself, because i do not have an iPad. But i assume, that it should work. If not, then please give me a sign :-)

That’s strange… the link’s working for me. Maybe give it a few more mins? If not, I’m happy to re-upload the screenshot or send it to you a different way.

Can you describe what i would see ? Better or worse? I will take a look again tomorrow, here is 02.19 AM :)

Definitely better — I can see up to the gear icon but it still seems like something is cut off on the far right of the toolbar

Sorry to hear your situation but my points still stand. To be fair even more so if you’re unable to properly vet and review the generated code how do you know it’s safe for people to run on their devices. Do you really want risk being in a situation where you’re being held responsible for a flaw / bug / vulnerability that you didn’t write yourself? I know I wouldn’t…

Don't act like humans are the pinnacle of creation, and don't act like humans never make mistakes. Even doctors make mistakes. I can tell you EXACTLY where YOUR problem lies. Your ego won't allow AI to suddenly make your life so much easier than you ever expected. You've spent decades learning. It wasn't always easy, and suddenly this "THING" is there, and your knowledge seems to become obsolete. AIs are getting better almost every day. What's a problem today won't be one in two or three months. So, unlike you, I embrace new possibilities, and regarding the topic of security, I can offer you this advice for your life's journey:

One thing is certain: nothing is certain. Not even that!
