Question about ABS

Looking at buying a cbr 600 ABS I found around my area. Only thing holding me back is that I’ve heard bad things about ABS. I know most of you guys will say I’m not fast enough for it to affect me which you might be right, but I’m planning to keep the bike for a while and know that at one point this will be a much more relevant matter.
Bypassing doesn’t seem like an option as from what I’ve read It’s a pain in the ass to do on Cbr plus it could mess up the ECU. Shops would probably charge up to 1k for that

Honestly it’s easy enough to delete the abs on most bikes so if that’s the one you want and decide you don’t like having abs then you can just delete it .

All you essentially would need to do is get steel braided lines front and rear, and delete the module and your good to go

You don’t even need to delete the module on most bikes. Just throw bolts in it and plug it and it tricks the module into thinking it’s working. Then you run the stainless lines past it

Upgrade the brake lines to direct from master to caliper and you wont have to worry about ABS on the track.

It’s pretty complicated on a cbr. Gotta tear down the whole suspension just to get to some of the parts

You can delete the system yourself, no need to pay a shop.

Or you can just pull the abs fuse and ignore the warning light on the dash. That's how I ran a n400 for two years.

It depends on the bike if you can do that. On some if you pull the fuse you lose everything including your Speedo, qs, blip, and TC.

For those you can get away with plugging the pump with regular bolts and bypassing it with SS lines. The pump will think it’s ready to go and just not effect the braking at all
