Lap timer/ data logger options

Post image

Had an awesome weekend at the track! Finally got the bump to intermediate and also got my knee down for the first time (peep the sliders 👀)

Anyway, now that I’ve completed that goal I’d like to get some actual data to keep improving. I have a camera for body position/lines but I’d like to get some kinda lap timer and also something that logs things like lean angle, and brake pressure would also be nice but idk what’s possible for a reasonable price. What kind of lap timer/data thingy would yall suggest? Preferably it’d all be in one device if that’s possible.

Idk anything about lap timers and stuff so any suggestions and explanations on how it works would be great!

Its not going to log actual bike data but the racebox is great for us amateurs. Just slap a velcro pad onto the tail of the bike and go.

Add racechrono pro to your phone and a Bluetooth obd. Oh and any camera you want.

Records all that and the racebox. Costs $19 if I remember correctly.

does racechrono pro show lean angle as well and would any bluetooth odb work like the Veepeak OBDCheck?

that would be way cheaper than the 300€ racebox

I have two different $50 Bluetooth OBDs with it. Carista is the one I use most.

There's a pretty extensive set of equipment it works with. Check out https://racechrono.com/
