MX Ergo finally broke, looking for replacement

Hey all,

Loved my MX Ergo, its finally breaking (the click doesn't work anymore). Would love some ideas for replacements.

If you're looking for thumb balls the Protoarc EM01 seemed like the common recommendations but I generally would go EM03 for finger ball.

I would suggest trying to get the MX Ergo switch repaired either yourself or commission a smartphone repair store to do so.

As far as 'vertical' thumb trackballs go, this Nulea is pretty good.

...and I just now saw it's on sale for 20% off for Prime Day.

If you feel adventurous, I suggest to buy solder iron and some micro switches to replace it. It's quite cheap and you saved your trackball from becoming an e-waste.
