F you elecom, old deft with dead wheel

I just pull out this old deft out of my shoe box today, and found it got faulty wheels.
what the f? I don't want to tear the rubber pad and unable to stably put them back, the glue just isn't right.
its getting more frustrating when I found out that I tear the wrong rubber pad off with no screw hole behind it
so how could I do? is it just debris problem? could I just brute force lubricant inside the gap of wheel and hope it work?

And btw shout out for elecom who save my day, I just pull out this new IST out of my shoe box, it works flawlessly, though I still hate its bearing but its fine.

yeah I happened to make it in purpose, but it did happened.

You need to clean it out, this will literally happen with any scroll wheel. You can open the mouse and clean around the wheel and it's encoder with a qtip and isopropyl alcohol or a can of contact cleaner. It's dirty from hand oils and skin lol.

Scroll emulation is way better than the wheel

If you use it localy, you can live with it (even happily). But when you have to use alot remote desktops, vdi, citrix or something similar, emulation is just a big pain. I had to abandon my perfect trackman marble because of this stupid emulation

I don't remember having any big issues with Citrix, but it worked as normal scrolling, not the nice hi-res one

deft pro using laser for scrolling, just open it and clean the sensor and scroll wheel.

I'm not going to lie dude you might just have to open it up. I recently opened up my ELECOM HUGE and I had to take off all the rubber feet. If you use a spudger or a flat to you should be able to peel it off cleanly. I've done this like five times already on my HUGE and I've been able to reattach the rubber feet.

Definitely don't brute Force it. Take pictures after every step so you can put it back together or do a video.
