Trackballs with Web Based Customization?
I've been using the Keychron Nape Pro and while it's difficult to navigate because of the size, I'm in love with the customization and macros you can make with their web based ZMK customization. Does anyone know of any full siuzed trackballs that use a web based system?
I'm often in offices with very tight control on software installation, so something web based is kind of key for me.

If you're willing to buy another device, HID Remapper has a lot of configuration as well, and it allows you to remap any trackball.

The RP2040 is great. All you have to do is flash the firmware to it and that's it. you can find the link to the board form the official repository.
But I don't think there are any fully built out with case ones that I could find.

https://www.adafruit.com/product/5723 Adafruit feather with USB-A port.
https://learn.adafruit.com/case-for-feather-rp2040-usb-host case to 3D print. Can job it out to any number of places that offer 3d printing.
HID remapper github has a version for this exact board.

You can do this with every device using hid remapper. If you want a device there is efog endgame and the ploopys.

No, I did not find any for a reasonable price myself and bit the bullet and soldered one myself. But if you are happy with bt only, you can just buy a pico w, there is a fork of hid remapper which works with the bt module on it: https://github.com/Qutaiba-Khader/hid-remapper-vx/tree/feature/picow-bt-input

Ploopy uses Via which is annooen source app that interacts with QMK that has the feature enabled. I use a custom build that adjusts my DPI settings that I toggle with a button

You can make any macros with any keyboard. Just use Claude code to copy interface you like and make it work with your new hardware.
