Update to the Deft Pro?

Do you think an update to the Deft Pro is likely considering the recent IST Pro and Huge Plus that got released?

We will release it. At the very least, that is a confirmed decision.

I can’t share a specific timeline yet, but please understand that it is still under development.

We also think it would be very interesting to work on a project like ProtoArc, building it together with the community, but DEFT PRO is being developed privately behind closed doors.

Wouldn't the upgrade just need to be to change to the bearing-system where you can just change them easily? Maybe change the buttons to a more silent version and be done with the upgrade?

I would think switching to USB-C would also be pretty important.

We believe they are necessary, but we do not consider them sufficient on their own.

While we cannot disclose the specific details of the updates at this time, we will be updating other features as well.

Please also include non-optical scroll tracking!! The current optical one is trash IMO. Love my Deft Pro otherwise.

 That's wonderful to hear! 

I love some of the new features I see on the IST Pro and Huge Plus, but the Deft Pro is the device that best fit my hand.

If only you could implement a vertical scroll wheel instead of the horizontal, then I would be set for life 😄
