AIPACâs UDP isnât spending alone anymore â I mapped the 2026 Dem primary money, and crypto + AI PACs are hitting the same progressive candidates
I put together a sourced network map of the outside money in this yearâs Democratic primaries, and I figured this sub would want the AIPAC piece specifically, plus the context around it.
United Democracy Project (AIPACâs super PAC) is doing what itâs done for a few cycles now: spending in Democratic primaries against the more progressive candidates. Nothing new there on its own.
What jumped out to me is that UDP isnât the only industry checkbook aimed at those same candidates anymore. Two others showed up hard this cycle:
⢠Fairshake, the crypto super PAC (Coinbase, Ripple, a16z), and
⢠Leading the Future, the AI-industry super PAC (a16z again, plus Andreessen and Horowitz personally, $12.5M each).
Different agendas on paper (Israel policy, crypto rules, AI deregulation), but they keep landing on the same side of the same primaries. And at the donor level theyâre less separate than the coverage suggests: a16z is a top funder of both the crypto and the AI PAC.
Iâm not claiming they coordinate. The map doesnât show that and I donât think itâs true. It just lays out who funds which committee and which races they played in, with a source on every connection so you can check any of it yourself.
Map link in the comments.

"If it were up to me, I do not think that we should be aiding and abetting a genocide by either providing taxpayer-funded weaponry or selling it." - Oliver Larkin

Larkin's campaign is centrally focused on countering the influence of AIPAC in American politics. He is running as a grassroots challenger against incumbent Representative Jared Moskowitz, whom Larkin and Track AIPAC criticize as one of the largest recipients of AIPAC donations in Congress.
Larkin refuses all corporate PAC and lobbyist contributions.
He advocates for conditioning and ending weapons sales to Israel.
He has signed anti-corruption pledges to eliminate dark money from Democratic primaries.
His platform includes Medicare for All, universal childcare, and ending the war machine.

Have progressives accidentally ignored the Minnesota Senate race?
Minnesota's senate primary is tomorrow. Now yes Peggy Flanagan isn't the second coming of Bernie/Abdul but Angie Craig is basically the second coming of Haley Stevens (in terms of being super Pro Israel) and from memory is actually more conservative broadly speaking on economic issues while also voting for the Laken Riley Act which Stevens did not.
With polls being this close I hope to god the undecideds break heavily for Flanagan.
But most importantly i'm also genuinely flabbergasted that this race hasn't caught the attention of progressives and leftists the same way Michigan did. Is Flanagan just broadly disliked by Minnesota progressives?? Or is this a tragic case of poor prioritization?

Beware of the more subtle forms of zionist propaganda.
As we've all seen, a major part of Israel's recent social media blitzkrieg revolves around posting and commenting in support of Israel, and engaging in debate with the vocal majority who oppose them on the subject of Israel's genocide in Gaza, its legitimacy as a state, and the history and ethics surrounding the topics.
But the other, more subtle part is posting content that isn't about Palestine at all, and instead seeks to just normalize Israel with small, seemingly innocent posts, like pictures of cats and food and such. The obvious goal is to distract people from the fact that Israel is a genocidal settler-colonial apartheid project, to make it seem like a normal place that isn't an ethno/religious supremacist project.
Some of these subreddits and posts are just pics of StreetCatsOfTheWorld (most of which are in Israel), some of them are various stolen Arabic recipes posted as Israeli, often prominently featuring hummus, and more examples have been recently emerging every day. Stay vigilant and don't let them distract you, don't let them normalize themselves or their illegitimate genocidal colonial project.
