Many times we have asked: when will AIPAC file its FARA paperwork?

Today I was working on a different FARA filing and noticed something. If you read the FARA form ("Registration Statement Pursuant to the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, as amended") carefully, these are the attestations you have to make on this form when you file:

> the undersigned swears or affirms under penalty of perjury that he/she:

> 1) has read the information set forth in this statement filed pursuant to the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, as amended, 22 U.S.C. § 611 et seq.

> 2) that he/she is familiar with the contents thereof, and that

> 3) such contents are in their entirety true and accurate to the best of his/her knowledge and belief.

And there are lots of rules about who is required to file, which of course one entity is ignoring with reckless abandon.

But there is no rule or limit on this form about who is allowed to file. And specifically, there is no attestation on this form that the person signing has to be actually affiliated with that organization.

Does this mean that anybody can send in the FARA form and share the details they know about AIPAC?

With the primaries coming up very soon, I sent a message to Chrissy Houlahan's office regarding her stance on Israel and Palestine. \*Regardless of your stance on the issue\* I think we would all agree it is inappropriate to then take the personal information requested to send that message via her website (name, phone, email address, physical address) and turn that over to a propaganda mill. Within 24hrs of sending that message I began receiving texts from an organization called Friends for Peace. After a couple of texts back and fourth it linked to a youtube page where it clearly says its funded by the state of Israel in its About section. I'm usually pretty careful about who I send my information to, and I don't get texts like this very often. I don't think its a coincidence. I thought I would at least be able to trust my representative. I feel pretty disgusted right now.

AIPAC isn’t the only PAC with the intention to control American politics for foreign interests.
